Jane is a destination boutique. When Jane Soudavar opened her upscale store in 1986, Lexington Avenue was definitely off the beaten path. Now, however, it is an avenue known for clothing, antiques, jewelry and many other upscale stores.

Jane has a very long-term loyal clientele and the beautifully arranged windows are constantly drawing in new customers. It has also seen a developing clientele among the daughters of the original clients.

The warm, rosy, intimate décor lends itself to very long visits by ladies who buy their entire wardrobe at Jane. The designers are Spanish, French, English, and German.

The clothing is classic with a modern edge, beautifully edited and suitable for going from day into evening. The sales staff are cozy, tasteful and helpful, which distinguishes Jane from larger stores.
